The Aion version absolutely requires a BB2, especially if you're planning to use the Lightbox that's available for it. Awesome looking build dude!

You got a link to those files or anything? I never saved them, and now that he nuked his account I’m on the lookout. specifically the mods relating to speed, volume, and which transistors to swap for stability.

UPDATE 8/16/2023: I no longer recommend a lot of this stuff. In my opinion, there are better levers to pull and I have documented them here:

With that said, let's discuss what I think are the most impactful and basic mods:

1.) Change R4 to 4.7M and Change R2 (stock preamp gain is 4) to increase gain. Here is a table of R2 values and corresponding gain increase:

3.9k = 4.25
4.7k = 4.91
5.6k = 5.66
6.2k = 6.16
6.8k = 6.66
7.5k = 7.25...

no idea, but from my build report I had these mods:
- R4 - 4.7M, R2 - 6.8K (for increased/improved output volume)
- 2N3904 for Q3, Q4 (lamp drivers, ?something about higher current capacity)

dunno about the speed mods but it looks like @zeropluszero has that covered above
