I saw that. Other than the top and the fretboard, it’s the same, from what I can tell. I love it. It’s the Epi above seriously considered in the last 10 years.

Epiphone hinted that other future high-end models would have this headstock. I wonder what they have in store?

Nothing profound. The writing has been on the wall that Gibson is positioning the higher end Epiphones to fill the void where the lower end Gibsons used to be. Since prices are rising everywhere, they are simply shifting that part of their line.

One thing's certain, people will receive less value for more money like when fast food value menus change.

I feel like this is what people want. I know I do. I will seriously consider buying one. It will have to be a player though. I’m guessing the resale value wouldn’t be much. Yes, I’m that guy.
