What transistors did you end up with? I used 2n3903 in all three positions (hFE ~120) and found it to work quite well. Changed the fuzz knob to a C-taper to avoid bunching up with the sweep.Just built the prototype, man, this thing is outstanding.

Did you use the c-taper? That’s the only thing beyond transistor choice that’ll have an appreciable impact.
So then, Different taper pot with same value will make it sound Better !!!?Yeah that part sounds different, better sweep. Sounds the same at full bore.
