Does anyone have a picture of a glass-bodied diode that had the magic smoke escape from it at one point or another? Something like a 1N34A or something like that.
Trying to visualize what the filament would look like, as well as if the break where the smoke would escape. I could blow one up for research purposes, but if one of you already has a blown one stored away for some weird reason, I’d love to see it.
