Happy birthday pedalpcb

With one of the best Pilsners I have tasted! When in Poland last year I discovered Namyslow (sorry can't work out how to do the accents). Drank pints of it an a beer garden in Kazimierz, bought cans from a deli in Warsaw... Outstanding beer. And impossible to find where I live.

It's actually not widely available here in Krakow. Will give it another try. Usually I steer clear of standard Polish beer. I always drink Czech beer, occasionally IPAs and wheat beers.

You must know the beer garden in Kazimierz I referred to! It's pretty much opposite Hevre. Hevre was ok but the beer in the beer garden was a lot better.

I like Czech style Pilsners - I once went to Pilsn just for the beer! It's a bit scary but the beer was good. I love Czech saaz hops. Big fan of Weihenstephan Pils and Trumer too. Both use saaz hops. I suspect Namyslow does too, given the flavour. We actually first tasted it at a very cool outdoor bar in Warsaw near the University. I think it was called Sidebar? We had a great time in Warsaw because we met up with a friend of a friend who is a Warsaw native and she took use to her favourite haunts. We even had dinner at her place, making pierogis in her kitchen. Fab!

I love this place... deserves a birthday party..... Maybe we can talk this dude into finally making some black tshirts... I'm tired of just sporting my love my switches shirts..
I get asked a lot if love my switches is an auto parts store when i wear mine.
