I have been having issues with this and a few others with the same issue. I guess for starters I would need to know how to properly probe my circuits with a multimeter but am unable to find sufficient info on the process. PLZ HALP

Everything looks in order. You have a meter to check voltages on the chip?

You may need to get (or build) an audio probe to check the signal too.

Once I was debugging a pedal, and realized I was plugging the input into the output and vice-versa (because it was upside-down when looking at it).
I guess I need to look into getting or making a probe

It's easy, just put a 1UF cap on the end of a stripped back guitar cord. Jump the shield to your ground connection, plug it into an amp and start working your way through the circuit.

I've marked out the first three spots to probe, just find these spots on the circuit board and touch the cap to each one while feeding an audio signal through the pedal. Screenshot_20210908-055556.jpg

Looks like a few of your resistance values are wrong unless I'm looking at the wrong build doc, youve got lots of 4K7 and looks like a 1M in R1 instead of 10K, R4 should also be 10K

Could just be the light visually check all values and orientation

Check resistor colour bands
