Here is a hydra that I completed in August 2021 housing it with a viib. Pretty sure that was my first build report. I've since acquired some need for more functions so I'm using a dod rubberneck instead. I still wanted the viib on my board so it got pulled first. I also removed the 2knobjob that I had on the speed pot as that was a non optimal fix for my need for tap tempo so this is now stock.
The enclosure was a grey sand left from another rehouse so it got some epoxy filler and a lil AI treatment. I think the prompt was like... fungal apocalypse or something like that. Waste not want not.
I definitely prefer the sound of the hydra. The switchable heads and the variety of rhythms they provide are fun and useful and the age knob brings a nice warmth. It will still get plenty of use now that it has its pants back on.
