This is my second informant and boy, did I run into some issues. When I initially buttoned it up, it came right on, however the volume was extremely low and the gain pot didn't do much. Well, with the help of a few forum members (@Nostradoomus and @zgrav ) it was pointed out I had used the wrong value of resistor in a couple spots. Then during the removal of said resistors, I completely trashed the solder pads for one of them. I was coached along on how to wire it up so it would still work. Now, it sounds pretty good. Not identical to my first one, but it's close. I really love these pedals! Also, I just like the shape of the 1590BB enclosure, so I had to make room for the footswitch.
