Kliche not getting 18v

Hello everyone,

I'm having an issue with my kliche overdrive build. I'm not getting signal or at least very minimal with pedal on or off. Led is working properly but when I'm checking my voltages I'm not getting the 18v at the tc1044 charge pump or after 1N4001 diodes. Using an audio probe, I lose the signal, or it gets extremely queit, right around the summing op amp (one side of R17 tones the other doesn't same for C14 and R19). Could this be due to the lack of 18v not boosting the signal?

I havent look at the schematic but id clean the board ( seems to always help even if its just looking cleaner to see problems)

My rule i go by is if im getting crappy stuff in im gonna get crappy stuff out the power circit will effect the audio circut to my understanding . Id check out the power side find where youre loosing the 18v

That makes sense, I'll clean it up a bit and see if anything sticks out.

Yep personally i use contact cleaner i know some people use other stuff though.

Let us know where youre loosing voltage in the power circut

what voltage do you measure on both sides of D5? the schematic in the build doc show 18v should be going to pin 5 of IC2

Anode: .5 VDC
Cathode: -8.27 VDC

I think I see what the issue might be. I have to swap D1,D2 and D4,D5. Will update after changing.

Swapped the diodes, now im getting the correct voltages at IC2 (pin 8: 16.93 VDC, pin 4: -9 VDC) and D5 (anode: 13.29 VDC, cathode: 16.92) still losing tone signal somewhere though
