ESPECIALLY if @Robert could make the circuit more robust than the original - there are legions of posts out there on various breakdowns (I own a dead one myself). E.g., provide more JFET protection against static, use more robust caps, etc. It is a great sounding delay pedal.

Contact MXR. In 2020 I pulled mine out after a while of non-use to discover it didn't delay. I sent it to them and they put a new board in it. And didn't even charge me what they said they were going to.

@joelorigo - Hey thank you! I will definitely try giving them a call tomorrow. Basically the same thing happened to me - the last time I pulled it off the shelf it didn't delay, and it's only been used occasionally at home and always w/ gentle care.
