What happens if you lose the little PCB wrench thing? How in the world will you put it together?

All jokes aside, I suppose it's not the worst idea ever.

Korg did it and no one gave them a hard time.

Part of me thinks it’s a bit gimmicky but I also do find it rather clever. The snap-off PCB wrenches and whole IKEA aesthetic is quite fun imo!
Not really for me but I can certainly see the interest for others

Hey, if it gets more people into the hobby that's great. Some folks don't have (any business using) a soldering iron and I suppose it's a step in the right direction.

It's disturbing, and not a one-off or accident either... there's a big electrolytic capacitor under there causing the PCB to flex up like that.

That is by design.

Unless I'm imagining it I'm pretty sure I saw a report somewhere about the tap tempo not working correctly because that little microswitch was pressing against the enclosure lid.
