So here's a little story time. Over 10 years ago, a friend wanted to build a tele with my guidance/shop and tools etc... he brings in this gorgeous chunk of walnut, roughs it into a tele blank then moves to the east coast due to work.

One day a few years later my father asks me to build something to enter into a charity auction. I decided to throw this snake head thinline together out of lumber I had laying around. Cost me so little to do that I put a lollar (I forget specifics rn) in the bridge and a vintage vibe Charlie Christian in the neck, try to entice some big bids.

I never really checked up on the auction thing after handing it off. Turns out the organization had dissolved before the next auction event and my pops tossed this in his spare room until he made a new plan. New plan evidently was to hand it to me today, a thousand years later.

So I guess I'm a tele guy now. NOS.

You think Gibson could have got their Headstock to resemble the strings being near straight like this proto Headstock.
Thankfully Leo created the the Best Headstock as seen on the Tele til this day!!!
