One knob HM 2

Hello,
this one is based on the DasMusikding pcb kit. I replace all pots by trimpot and add a blend pot with a little buffer (transistor is 2N5089)

Enclosure is acid etched, i draw on this with fine paint marker before.
Looks like Terminator 2 when activate.

Actually i add a jumper instead the two germanium diode.

Blend knob is very usefull.

That marker drawing looks awesome!
Also, I like the idea of getting rid of controls that you don't plan on changing, very sleek- especially compared to my modded builds that usually add controls..

Yes, i use it like a boost, gain is just open, volume half, bass and high full. So the blend control move from 10 o'clock to 3 o'clock. From light boost with caracteristic tone to chainsaw ?

WOW! That's a sweet looking build! I'm interested in how you did this.

So, just to be clear:
Step 1, you used a paint marker to draw that image
Step 2, you acid washed the enclosure, leaving the etched image behind

Yes, after sanding the enclosure, i do my drawing with graphite pen, ink the ''light'' parts with my unipaint marker. I use too a cutter blade for some details.
And the etch by ferric acid.
After wash the paint with white spirit, and acetone for the enclosure.
