Packaging, Does it Matter?

I guess it depends who I'm buying from. Logos for big corporations might go in the trash, but if I order from a small company/ builder I'm into, I'm disappointed if there's no sticker.
Same. I don’t generally put them on anything, except the occasional get on my laptop or build cabinet. They both have stickers on top of stickers on top of stickers.

The last new pedal I bought was from Walrus. They went all out. Fancy box, drawstring bag, catalog, instructions, sticker, a tin with 10 picks, and a Polaroid of guy who I assume worked on my pedal.

Definitely overkill, but I did feel like I was opening something special.

I don't use stickers at all. Never understood the drawstring bag either. Seems like a waste of money and resources. I prefer minimal in pretty much everything. I don't mind a logo'd pick but never use them because they're never a grey Dunlop 88. Whenever I get the fancy box with die-cuts and bits of paper falling out I just think I've paid for stuff I'll never use. I'm even suspicious of the candy some guys include with their pedals!
