PRS makes pedals now

I love my PRS SE Mira, and I'm more art-rock hippy than blues lawyer.

Not too interested in the pedals, but I wouldn't write them off without hearing them first. Or at least reading some reviews.

The dual LFOs and LFO mix of the flanger is honestly pretty rad. The only one of the PRS pedals that interests me— It sounds like a good middle ground between a BF-2 and an Electric Mistress, but with way more controls

I think Paul seems like a pretty cool guy really, I just do not like super blingy tops that they put on most of their guitars. The SE ones are just as bad with the veneers. The solid color PRS guitars are the ones I could see myself playing, like a solid black McCarty singlecut. I don't even like gold appointments on guitars, but I think this looks nice:

I want to like it.... It has the potential to be likable....

But why in the hell did not one person at PRS say "Hey, you know, maybe we should add like, a switch to invert the phase of one side so it can do subtractive through-zero?" ...

It has the word "THROUGH" in the name for gods sake.

A potential candidate for a upcoming PCB should it become available would be greatly received with that said toggle!

It’s not actually two flanger circuits though, right? I was under the impression that it’s a single flanger with a dual LFO, so you can create composite waveforms; hence why there’s only one regen control and only one wet/dry mix.

That's not what the description says....

"Dual flanger pedal with independent controls for each flanger"

Although that still could be the case.... if so it's a bit misleading.
From PRS website:
The PRS Wind Through the Trees dual analog flanger pedal is best described as two flangers fighting each other, resulting in a sound reminiscent of the wind whipping through the trees. With Manual, Depth, and Rate controls per flanger.........

Ah interesting. The Andy demo sounded more like two LFOs modulating the same delay line. Since it’s two flanger circuits the phase switch seems an absolute no brainer

@StompBoxParts I totally understand if it’s not your place to say, but any chance you could clarify if the flanger is two separate delay lines or one delay line with two stacked LFOs allowing for more complex waveforms?

Ok, I just finally watched one of the PRS Pedal demo's. I have admit I like the dual flanger, whether it's really dual or not.
Question, the flangers are in series right? I mean if it's wind fighting against itself....?
Or is it parallel signal paths that get summed after the LFO's?

Either way, Brian Ewalds demo sounds pretty cool, I like it. I'd build it, or the Byzantium-2.
Or maybe I'll just stack two flangers and get to the same place hahaha......
