Reverb Sold By Etsy to Fender Parent and Firm Led By SoundCloud Alum

I envy your optimism, but I predict an increase in seller fees "to build a better platform and user experience" followed by a DOGE-ing of the customer support staff (as someone who has used Reverb for a decade as side income, enough to have to pay taxes on it).

  • We’re getting ready to pilot a new option for selling that allows you to get paid faster and drop off your gear locally, without needing to create a listing or ship.
  • We’ve got teams working on making it easier to find what you’re looking for on Reverb, ship your items safely, and resolve your support issues quickly.
These both sound like fees will need to increase. But, I at least don't see 'AI' anywhere.

Ive noticed a drop in reverb sales since the fall. Both diy, and regular pedals. It seems like if you don’t so the bump your listings just get buried.

This is not some private equity nonsense I hope?!?
Doubtful as they have nothing to liquidate.

Maybe fender can figure out how to get dymaic pedals'(seller) sale notifications to stop populating 5 times a day as I stopped following their store 2 years ago but their sales still flood my updates tab

I got one kinda look forward to the Reverb Tone Master Edition.
I wonder if this has to do with the whole fender vs the used market/certified pre-owned deal?
