Sea horse power issues.

I tried to build a sea horse. I thought I could do the cool mods and have a cool, updated piece of gear, but it's not working right. There is no effected sound or LED light when engaged. I do get bypass sound. Thank you.

The one thing that I noticed where my attempt at recreating what Chuck D. Bones created differs is that I didn't know how he added the LED for rate. So, I skipped it. In doing that I wired the switch and LED to the board. Did I wire power to my switch wrong, or something?
I'm still going through different forums and troubleshooting guides. I have to get a battery for my multimeter and then I'll be able to do more.

So, I was trying to measure power and saw a little spark and afterwards there was no longer silence when I engage the effect, but it's the same sound as bypass sound. What did I break? Thanks.

Sounds like you touched the negative and positive leads together by mistake.

Have you measured your ICs?

That makes sense. I think it was the positive from the board to the dc jack and the ground to the output jack. Thank you. Can I just shoot the pins listed on the schematic, or should I look up the pin out of each IC and measure those? Thanks again.

Measure each ICs pins starting from the top left pin and working your way counter clockwise. Post all your voltages.

Are the ascending and descending measurements relative to the capacitors charging and releasing?

I just put all the knobs to 12 o'clock position.
