Got a good deal on a Revv D20 so that’s incomin! Was going to get an amp and a two notes for making demo videos but this solves that problem in one box, why not?

I like mine a lot. Very convenient. I'd highly recommend experimenting with some tubes. I swapped the EHX 6V6's for some JJ's and it definitely sounds like a bigger amp. Also, if you have some NOS 12AX7's I would recommend swapping V1. I have a Bugle Boy in there now and it gives the whole amp a real "3D" quality.

You can never be too sure.... I'd recommend not putting them in your mouth and washing your hands after handling them.

Just got my A-101 indicator tubes from Ukraine today for a stupid experiment. But I guess in a time where we already have everything else, a tube tuner makes as much sense as anything.

This reminds me that I need to order a few different jfets and stuff from mouser sometime this week. Planning on getting maybe even a few hundred SMD units (split between 5457s, 5487s, 201s, and 2SK208s) as well as some obscure BJTs for a few oddball circuits I want to mess around with (realistically 5088s would work fine for both, but they’re just a few cents a piece for a dozen of both types wouldn’t kill me for experimentation’s sake.

couldn’t resist that back shot ? nothing expected for mail today but i’m laughing at this tracking report for an ice fishing item I ordered. the factory is MAYBE 35 minutes away(I can pick it up before work in person close …) and it’s been halfway around the state so far!
