What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

That’s cool! How can one make one of those? Is it laser cut?
JCLPCB via this file.

MAN I really gotta spring for faster jlcpcb shipping, your order came way fast. Glad you appreciate it!
It rocks. I had the cheap delivery, but they group the Euro shipments together as a pallet and do customs for you so it's pretty swift. Really appreciate it. Now, I just need to finish a PCB for my Rangemaster on the breadboard and crack my self-PCB cherry!

BLMS order was waiting for me for a couple weeks.

The bag far left has the USB to 9v, but its the centre-positive one. I’ll hot-glue an adapter onto it that flips inner to outer / pos<>neg.

I have some specific ideas for the sugar-brown, Ford blue, but not the chartreuse. The b&w 1590Gs are destined for some sort of utility thingy.

Jack-covers missing from last order , added another freakishly long- legged switch (for breadboard?) and a little Valentine’s poetry and a Lemonhead candy.

Builds await!

AES and Moonn parcels. AES is mostly bits for my upcoming particle accelerator. Silver mica, tube and socket. I added a trapezoid to fill out the cart.

I wasn't after anything specific at moonn, though I'd pick up a few more lofrans if they stocked em. Just needed more "solder therapy" as my stash is running low on little fun builds. I have here a doom doom (mountainking megalith), Big Mess (lm386 muff), octomix (escobedo octup), aglio e olio (Montarbo Sinfhoton), and an evil spell (escobedo jinx).

I need to pick up some of those turrets, thanks for the link.

What are AES and BLMS?

Antique electronics supply and (bitches) love my switches
And it should be noted Antique Electronic Supply (AES) is the same company as Amplified Parts (AP).

Figured that out ‘cause the two websites were so similar, and then later I remember asking here on the forum, too “what’s AES?”—
too many acronyms!

2N2222As are quite expensive these days, so when I spotted these, at a few bucks for 100, I decided to roll the dice.

MMBT2222A <- AliExpress LINK

I need to solder some to adaptor boards for proper testing, but the basic tester I have that has pads for SOT23 chips says this one is an NPN BJT with a gain right on 300. That's good enough for me.

Pic is a close up using my phone, hand held.

Thanks for the link. I've got some Pico and Stomp Fuzz PCBs from MAS that need SMD trans; the shop also sells Bazz Fuss friendly MMBT3904VL.

This also in for a while while I was away awhile, behold...

1550G-HENGE!

CAAAD1D3-5A42-43E7-9F55-91477EAAF284.jpeg

With it I will build a Soulicks Aggravator and hide it in a mushroom-shaped rock next to my tropical isle's top-secret hidden evil lair;
It will harness the heat of the sun that will in turn power my golden solder-iron with which I will build pedals with enough force that I can take over any PA system around the world — all promoters will have to PAY ME, and scarily handsome Lee.
Just the thought of it makes my superfluous papilla positively tingle with antici . . . . . . . . . pation!

1550G-Henge is possible thanks to @Pauleo1214, and I hope I may follow in his footsteps of MFX greatness and create something worthy —
I can fit at least 3 1590N1-sized projects in one 1550G AND have top jacks no matter how the boards are laid out as the 1550G is tall enough.

I have two ideas already: an original one I've been planning for a long time and the PCBs and tech are recently at a point I can execute it,
and a clone of Paul's Coockoo for Caca, to paraphrase his pedal's name.

What other combos to build? Or is 1550G the enclosure for my L4 bass preamp? A small grab-n-go "board" for my upright? 🤔

L4
1590XX 145 x 121 x 35
1550G 222 x 146 x 51
222-145=77, that’s width of a B3! so width-wise can add in another 1590N1 (66mm) for sure AND have the mods to the L4 that I want…
The extra depth of the '50G could be used to stagger more footswitches. Can have a Mas BazzFuss or …?

Also in from PPCB while I was away:
- "Special Order" with pre-soldered FV-1 (Can't wait to tackle this one!)(Can't wait to tackle this one!)
- Frequency Interchange Filter. This circ has uses by the ton(e), Bro.

I is excite!
