I've seen some crass band names. I used to rent this rehearsal space and one of the neighboring rooms housed a band called "Black Pussy." Yes, as you're assuming, it was 4 or 5 white hipster dudes.

Some @fig gotten gains here. Tim's generosity set me up to build my "always on/end of chain" pedal that will go underneath my pedal board but I forgot to order the fets. @Robert was so very kind to throw them in for free. Much gratitude, sirs.

I was looking at this one too, I’m really curious as to how it sounds. It’s hard to find a comp that plays well with hot pickups and low tunings, so far the Kompromat is the only one that really works well for me. And I have always been curious about the 4305 in a comp, the dev board I have(I was so graciously given by @fig ) didn’t really seem to yield the results I was hoping for. Speaking of look what I got I the mail…
@fig thank you once again, I can’t wait to test drive this soon as I put the people McNugget to bed!

So in 2009 I had a Line6 Pod and betweeen 2012-2014 I had a M9 on my pedalboard so I always quite liked the Line6 stuff. For some reason the HX Stomp was never really interesting to me. This changed when I saw the german band Betterov live this January. One of their guitar players played a HX Stomp with a Fender Princeton preset/IR and some pedals straight into the mixing desk and I was blown away by how good his live sound was. Since then I non stopped thought about buying a used one and a few weeks ago I found a good deal online. Really excited to play around with it.

The other thing in my letterbox today was these. I bought ten of each variety shown, and I've tested two of each: in spec and with near-zero ESR, so that's nice.

They're higher quality than regular e-caps, but yeah, I'm more into them because they're smaller and also look cool.

Some enclosures from Tayda! And also a bunch of other parts, of course. Not completely happy with the Gladio one, but the others are really nice. The "Color Out of Space" looking one also has a small blemish, like there was one grain of sand or something like that under the printing - but it's in one of the dark blue parts, so not a big issue. Cyberpig's cyber parts are chromium (so no UV printing on those parts), not flesh coloured like it might look here.
