What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

I finally broke down and ordered the VPM-1 last night. Been on the fence about this one for a while but I've only got a patch bay for my x32 rack to solder up left in the project queue so I figured I better get something going! I keep eyeballing those sushi boxes...they are probably next.
I was looking at those as well. Did you get the DIY version kit? Be interested in what you think.

Those clip ons are surprisingly accurate. Not perfect, but close enough. I got a mooer one as a set with strings and polish from Amazon. They work well in a pinch, but never seem to turn off when you want it to
This $20 Korg one has a strobe mode that's supposedly good to +/- 0.1 cents. Most of the cheapies are rated +/- 1 cent, which still mostly close enough. The Turbo Tuner pedals are rated at +/- 0.02 cents. I do a fair number of bass setups, so sometimes moar is MOAR.

I’ve been using the kit version for a few years, and really love it. I play with my right foot pretty much glued to a volume pedal, doing subtle swells or just slightly non regular tremelo, and the complete lack of friction has been a godsend. Not to mention all the slope options, etc. Was just about to spring for a Lehle when I noticed the Zeppelin kits, and can’t compare the two—but have been completely satisfied with the Zeppelin, and highly recommend it.

It was your recommendation in another thread that pushed me over the edge tbh.

Ok, dang that blasted @iamjackslackof and @steviejr92

I'm in the "cool kids club" now. Can't blame my CCT for crappy sounding pedals anymore.....:ROFLMAO:

One big downside, didn't realize the software is Windows only, Doesn't look like there's a Mac version......

Have you considered running Parallels on macOS? I’m a longtime Apple user myself and while I try to avoid anything non-compatible, it’s not always possible and Parallels bridges that gap for me.

That looks interesting. I've never even heard of it. I used to dual boot into a Win10 partition on my Mac but I still had issues with some programs.

Having said that, I'm not sure I'd get much out of the Peak software analyzer. I'd just be pretending I knew what I was talking about...... :ROFLMAO:

Bit behind on posting here:

2 Destiny Behemoths from @jjjimi84
"Live, Laugh, Toaster Bath!"

Sonomatic Deluxe, Tonitrus, BC108 Dirtbag, and a surprise Sonofier from @Dutch66

The Joyo Monomyth that may not look so good in the near future. What was I thinking, trying my first trace on stacked SMD boards?

Cheap clip-on tuner (Cherub WST-905Li) I saw on CSGuitars on YouTube. It can do compensated tuning for guitar, so figured what the hell.

I'm a little surprised this is the first you've heard of Parallels as a macOS user, it's generally accepted as the go-to solution for running Windows inside of Apple's OS. Don't get me wrong, Parallels has its quirks, but it generally works well and allows you to run the two OS's harmoniously, even simplifying things like drag and dropping files between the two or launching programs on Windows in an isolated environment that make the software appear as if it's a standalone program on macOS. When my manufacturing business was still alive and needed specialized programs (that weren't available on macOS), we found Parallels far more useful than Apple's built-in dual boot feature.

I'd just be pretending I knew what I was talking about...... :ROFLMAO:
I mean, would you be pretending though? You'd have the data...
