Running a bit behind with my build reports and demos.
Built this one over the weekend.
For some reason I thought I would like it a lot more than I do. It sounded really interesting in the demos but playing it is a bit of a different story.
I don't think it sounds a whole lot different than in the vids but here's another case of Mike Hermans always seeming to get the best out of any pedal.
This design has no clipping stage and according to the ad copy the gain is derived from 5 different gain stages.
It sounds bit like a fuzz to me. It's a cool sounding pedal but I was kinda expecting to be as wowed with it as I have been with some other similar style pedals.
I think I need to spend some more time with it and some different guitars.
Build itself was a speedy build, I think I had it done in under an hour. Very straightforward and relatively low component count.
I'll try to upload a sound demo a bit later.
