What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

Well I’ll just have to run the theremin fuzz into the Enzo now won’t I? :D
From the vids I've watched, it's portamento seems closer to the HOG and SuperEgo's gliss, but maybe a bit more like the one found on the Synth9. It's a great sound, but not quite the portamento I'd want.

For reference, this is the kinda pitch glide I'm looking for -

The Theremin Fuzz / Sim do it well, but it lacks any degree of polyphony

Someone just snagged the one I've been using, so I'll have to build another (still brainstorming a huge old-school multi FX type synth build)
As that vid shows, it loves being fed into other synths and ring mods. Running the Theremin into a Bit Commander is especially fun for lo-fi scuzz beauty

@DGWVI and @Mentaltossflycoon , not to add fuel to the GAS tank, but there is an Enzo over at TalkBass for you to eyeball, $245 shipped.

In the meantime, I will just stick with my HOG2. Just gotta get me one of those foot controllers.
I need to see more demos of the Enzo, I think. But, I'm also starting to realize that I'm not huge on the whole self-contained guitar synth thing.
Owned the SY-300 and 1000, Synth9, Microsynth, and a bunch of others. I prefer the modularity of having separate circuits for each. The Boss SYs came close, but there was something about the sound and response that turned me off.
I've also toyed with the GR/GK stuff, and might revisit that in the future for the various instrument sounds.

I'm pretty happy with the HOG and the various filters and stuff I've got on hand now. Think the only things I feel it's missing are separate filters and outputs for the High and Low bands

I'm an og hog user and if I could justify the cost I'd slap an Enzo right next to it. It's in my top 5 non diyable pedals that i gas for. It's pretty much inevitable that I nab one. Someday when I'm buying fewer pcbs....
Alas, I bought too many pcbs this month arreddy.

Never got along with any of those synth pedals. Only one i ever bought was the bass microsynth. For it's time it was super duper but it doesn't hold up when compared to the utility/ real estate ratio of modern pedals. Still a nostalgia sound there for me. I think I may have put it in the wishlist back when i was putting more ridiculous suggestions in there.

I like the Microsynth, but as you say it's big for it does. I think either MadBean of Lectric had a Microsynth board in the works. Either way, I'd gladly build a diy version.

I have always kinda wanted the triggered filter in its own pedal, though. Brb, gonna make a wishlist post 🤪

I absolutely L❤️‍🔥VE Falcons!

My buddy's got some different new rear fenders for his custom truck, and he's picked a colour for it finally — Chalmer's Orange.
Progress pics when I get back from trippin'.

I agree on the Enzo I could get some good sounds but found it a little difficult to use without midi or preset switch. The poly mode is not great tracking wise and the whole experience made me consider looking at something like an Arturia Microfreak instead of a guitar pedal if wanted synth sounds.

Mono mode was badass though for sure

I hadn't, but you never know what might pop up in a trivia game. Nice!

This is on the way....any guesses?

...I did get a Binaura and some other pcbs from Robert and Brian. I need to dust off the soldering iron.
It looks like it's strung up wrong whatever it is

Zoinks! A midnight blue Ricky 12? Better run the Ric-o-sound thru the binaura for us all ;)
