The visible traces are teeny tiny, if that's what it takes to successfully route a board then placement is no good. I like looking at stuff like this, but as an engineer placement like that doesn't make sense.

I like the component layout but the trace routing has to be a mess.
The flux doesn't bother me, I don't clean flux, deal with it.
What does bother me is that the electrolytics aren't all facing the same way..... (and the diodes, if you're going to go through all that trouble)
