A little strange love from Sweden. The CV generator will be on the back burner for awhile, the other is a theremin fuzz that I’ll work up soon, but the Bitbreaker Attiny85’s is what I was really after. Time to find out if it’s my Vero that’s jacked, or my lack of understanding in MCU programming that has my Bitbreaker deluxe build not working.

Edit: it was my lack of MCU programming skills

A little strange never hurt nobody….

You could buy a single metal film resistor for 77¢ and be done with it.
But then they wouldn't match the color scheme! A guy's gotta have his standards.....!

I have a good 20 pounds of resistors and capacitors collected over the past 20 years. What's a few more?

Like, I'm retired now, but I still have clients that call from time to time asking me to come back for a few months. My going rate 10 years ago was $125 an hour, I did a small job last year for $175 an hour just as a favor - everyone else is charging $300 an hour so it was like a bargain for them....

That's as good a reason as any! :p

Yeah, me too.
My wife asked me, “Will you use up all these parts before you die?”

I told her the truth, which is “No.” 🙃

I feel you, most of mine seem to be the navy blue lately, which means I can't use any of my medium blue resistors anymore.

I absolutely feel this

I even bought some from LCSC that looked like the medium blues, but they're really more of a sky blue. Worst part is they have even better leads than the Tayda ones so it feels even dumber to not be satisfied

I just ordered a cassette for an improv album that was recorded at the Vintage Synth Museum in LA. Still have my stereo from the early 90's and can't wait to get the cassette on the mail. Been almost 30 years since I listened to a cassette, minus the 5 mins of "Thunderstorm with Rain" cassette that I found in my stereo when I took it out of storage last year.
