Excited the pasty face fits into a ppcb 3knob type 1 pre drilled tayda enclosure as well. In addition to the two pasty faces (one will be a gift) we’ve got beans little audio probe thing and a current lover because I apparently need to build flangers to remember I don’t like them.

Returned from holiday travel to a mailbox full of xmas cheer!

Fuzzcases did a very limited-quantity Black Friday deal on ‘Olivetti’ Marshall Supafuzz replica cases. After a long trip overseas, mine made its way to NY today.
It’ll be a good while before I find just the right mojo bits to make this supa fuzz a box of supa hype. Currently debating between doing a more traditional replica (silver hammertone, traditional lettering aesthetic but with my own name), something a little bit more custom (green or blue hammertone maybe? My own font/logo choices in addition to my own name) or full out technicolor madness with a psychedelic paint job or something along those lines (though that may distract a bit too much from the form of the case)

i chickened out of that deal because it was still expensive and I have no space for such a behemoth and no way to powder coat it in a cool color. Too bad. Are you gonna put a proper mkii in it?

I nearly chickened out too. I’m not exactly sure what circuit construction I’ll be putting in— I think I might build a “FUZZ KF” PCB circuit even though this version of the enclosure only ever had the stripboard versions in it. I will do some version of the ‘supafuzz’ Tonebender circuit though for sure
