Pedal builders REACT to this guy finally cracking the Spirit In The Sky fuzz

The clone of Norman Greenbaum in the video is pretty impressive. Does this guy walk around like that all the time?
Just hope he doesn’t pull an Al Jolson on a Hendrix-themed pedal…😬 ;)

Pedal sounds decent.

I’m a bit skeptical after digging a bit…

the pedal with have 3 knobs and one switch. So that the proper spirit in the sky style fart can be dialed in on more than just a telecaster.

This is a paragraph from the product page. Kinda reads like an African Prince wrote it. It is also written in the future tense, leading me to believe that the pedal doesn’t exist and is just a theory. I’m sure once people pay up front they’ll start making pedals…in Mali…

Could just be a bias setting for the fart. Nothing Nigerian about it. The pedals are supposed to ship in a few months. I beleve this vendor already has other products and has been aorund for a while.

It was in his guitar? Yeah. It's a Boss Tone. There were versions of the boss tone in some pedal steels. Some tech probably ripped one from one and put it in his tele. boss tone with a dieing battery=KMA fuzzly bear.
Plus, Greenbaum moved to LA in 65 and Jordan Electronics was just down the road in Pasadena.

I believe this is true if you are talking about the standard version. But I believe the earlier version, which were installed inside pedal steel guitars, utilized Ge. These circuits are a bit smoother, and fart out easier than the normal version…
