Module8. Anybody built one?

I've got my eye on some modulation boards and the Module8 seems like a "jack of all trades, master of none". Anybody built one and can comment on the toanz?

I am a bit curious. Another cool thing is for 8 more sounds, pop in the octagon EEPROM.

It would be cool to have a bank switch to switch between two eeproms

I always get side tracked and forget about the module 8 algos but still curious as to how they sound

You mean something like this?

I have a few extra boards laying around that do exactly this. I can't remember who here created the boards, but they shared the files and I got some from jlcpcb.

Add one of the boards to my Arachnid so I can switch between 2 eeproms

I did a bit of searching. Looks like maybe the Butt Stuff?

And how could I forget a name like that? Always making sure credit is given, especially when it's something as cool as this, @Paradox916 is the mastermind of this super awesome/useful board.

@jcpst if you want a board for an fv-1 project, I can dig one out for you. There's no way I'd every use all 5 that I had printed.

So I'm still a NOOB. Do you have access to all these algorithms at the same time or is it a pick one to use and build another pedal? Still trying to learn. Thanks!

To further clarify BtR's post, with the Module8 you have access to 8 algos in a single pedal, but only one can be used at a time.
You don't need to build a second pedal.

If, say, mid song you need to switch out from Flanger to RingMod, you'd have to reach down, turn the dial from Flanger to RingMod — you don't need to build a Flanger-Module8 pedal and a separate RingMod-Module8.

Also, if you prefer, you can order the "Arachnid" and select which 8 specific algorithms you want (for example, you could replace the two Tremolos of the Module8 for a reverb and a delay — Module8 is simply a pre-selected EEPROM used on the Arachnid platform).

You'll find a complete list of algos in the EEPROM BUILDER section of the store.

Took me a while to wrap my brain around all the FV-1 stuff offered by PedalPCB (*and other DIY resources).
