Add Buff N Blend to Klon?

Hey everyone. A friend is asking for me to add a buffered clean blend to @Chuck D. Bones bass klon (which i highly recommend even on guitar). Since it uses different bypass wiring I was wondering how i would connect it? I'm not sure which lugs are in, out, etc

The klon already blends the clean and gain signal paths. You want to blend more clean with the clean/gain blend?

If you want a dedicated blend knob, you might consider splitting the gain knob into 2 seperate knobs. If you dou don't want the clean signal to be affected by the tone control and don't need more than unity gain on the clean signal, you can just attach a cap and small resistor from the input buffer output to one end of the blend knob and the klon output to the other end. Blend knob output goes to your regular output.
No need to add another buffer up front.

Maybe explain how the circuit works. The only benefit to the blend I could see is bypassing the tone control.
