Favorite pots isolation

I'm Canadian and pot is legal here but I'm not talking about that one.

I just got pots from Small Bear and since I'm a Tayda guy, I'm used to those "pot's condoms".

What is the preferred material tips and tricks for pots without those plastic isolation pots?

I'm listening. Talk to me as if I was 5.

I use foam tape sometimes (about 1-1.5mm thick).

I have a bunch of those thick rubber "pot condoms" guitarpcb sells. But I find them too thick for the pcb mounted pots, but they work great in other use cases. Electrical tape on the back of the pots is what I use if I don't have the dust covers.

Same. If it’s really tight solder joints will poke through electrical tape, never had that problem with foam.
