Ungula - ? about leakage & hfe

Got a bunch of NPNs for this circuit.

As far as I can tell they need to be low leakage. Can anyone tell me a range for low leakage? Under 1ma? Under .1ma?

I know hfe is less important for this circuit but wondering what an acceptable range is for that too.

Just finished one of these today and it sounds great. I coughed up 5 bucks each for 2N1308s from AES and built it per the BOM. The 1308s read very different on a TC1 tester. One read around 150 hfe, the other over 400. I stuck the 150 in Q2, the 400 in Q3. No idea if that was a rational choice but it worked out. 2n3904s in the other two spots around 250 hfe. I don’t remember what the leakage readings were.
