What's in the mailbox? 📬 📦

Looks great! And way better than the blinding white. But… is it just me, or is that a nice cream/ off-white? Maybe it’s the photo, but I’m not seeing any green.
It's a very faded green, actually a beautiful creamy mint that is much better than some mint greens I've seen. The seller also has standard mint green but it looked too green. Really happy with this shade.

Decided to get serious about my ground lugs.... 1/4-20 18-8 stainless with nylon lock nuts and tinned copper ring terminals should be just about right. Obviously this is not for pedals!

Spent the morning reading posts about regulations and horror stories. Decided to kick it up a COUPLE notches from the #8's I've been using.

I figure a dedicated one for earth ground, one for preamp, and one for the power side..... And I got Allen button heads. Thinking everything else is Phillips, this sort of sends the message "Don't unscrew this one"

Good idea on the allen-heads, @RetiredUnit1

Would a black philips-head afford the same grounding as a shiny one? ('Cause I know I'll need to unscrew a ground at some point for whatever reason and not have the allen-key handy).

Well I saw the black oxide screws too, but after reading about that alloy versus the 18-8 I decided to go with 18-8. It's stronger than the other stainless which is for Marine applications. I don't think my amps will see a lot of seawater..... Unless someone uses it for a boat anchor, lol.....

I started to get Torx but the price....... Holy $#!+

MN3207s for the Low Tide and MN3007s for the Karaoke Chorus, fresh from China. What are the chances that they are legit and how do I check other than putting them in the builds?
They look like the ones I got, of which 90% were legit - one out of ten was dead on arrival.
But the only way of testing them that I know of is in a pedal.

EDIT: Mine were 5 x 3207s & 5 x 3102s. One of the 3102s was dead. The others have all been tested and compared to known genuine chips and they're A-OK, no issues at all.

JUST IN CASE, you don't read or watch the news, it looks like UPS is going to have a strike. My package from mouser is due tomorrow, crossing fingers...... but if you're getting ready to buy something DON'T USE UPS!!!!!
The strike would occur at the end of the current contract period (July 31).

Shipping delays are a bummer, but refusing to agree to a fair contract with your workers is worse.

I had two UPS packages, one from Mouser and one from Amazon that got dropped off at local pack and ship place and I had to go pick them up. What a pain in buttocks. It was the one IC I needed to finish my delay build.

Jazzmaster neck pickup tele pickguard for my next build
That's another really intriguing Tele set up that's got my fancy. I like how a Jazzy sounds but I'm not super thrilled with how they play.
Just doesn't fit me too well it seems. Are you going to do a JM trem? Or a hardtail?
