If I'm being completely honest I haven't used those bins in years...

This is what I currently use. It's much quicker and easier to add a new value.

I've been meaning to repurpose those bins for components that don't fit into this system (jacks, LEDs, ICs, etc) for years, but as of right now it's just a waste of bench space and serves as a little shelf.
