... I really don't have that many knobs because I rarely box anything up so I just reuse over and over. Coincidentally I do have some of those aluminum 1510's incoming though. Been waiting over a month.

Ground springs suck balls. I hated using them and it’s the reason I came up with an I/O to use the jack mount ground washer.

They irritate the heck out of me when it comes time to put it back in the enclosure.

Two things:

1.) In the 10 units I put them in and sold, they fucking shifted the board over so I couldn’t straighten it out to satisfy my OCD

2.) I need to bench press fucking 350 to get them in there with cranking the living shit out of the mechanicals.

Never again. I started using the Cliff EMI/RFI washer with Tayda mono PCB jacks and got Hugo at Tayda to offer masking for the inside of the enclosures to I could get effortless continuity.

Yep, truth is, without masking the inside the spring still might not work.

It'd be just my luck to get 500 enclosures all with powder right where the spring contact hits.....
