Looks like Tayda's backed up again...

Yeah they continue to ship things out quick as long as you aren't ordering drilled-powdercoated-printed enclosures.
I actually get a better price at CE Dist on enclosures if you figure in the freight, and I've been using the same drill press since I was 11, back in 1967 - same year I started playing guitar. Still have my '67 Rick 420 the "Beatles" guiltar. And Tayda doesn't have my fav color, surf green.....

Does your foot not hit the shape knob when you turn it on?
I love you caught that Yes it absolutely can. Its not really pedalboard friendly either. That board was in no way supposed to fit in there...i was just being ambitious. I like different orientations in knob placement jack placement, or just the orientation of the enclosure period. I think experimentation is key even if it doesnt work out the way you want it too all the time ya know?

I didn’t even know this website existed, it looks like amplified parts but wholesale. I see you have to sign up and be approved to use it though.

Totally. I appreciate anyone doing something different and not just doing cookie cutter designs the same way as everyone else.

I appreciate that! Thats pretty encouraging! Although next time i could go with a board that actually fits the enclosure :ROFLMAO:

Yup I use them for loads of stuff, it literally is amplified parts but wholesale, same company. You have to prove you're a "business", but they're not really intense about it, I think I used my business card and my website as the two verification materials to get my account. I've had an account since I was a college student. Oh and they have a $50 minimum order policy, but that's not hard to do if you're building more than a couple things at a time. Or if you're buying tubes.

*continues doing the same cookie cutter designs as I always have but a little more embarrassed now*

My builds aren't any different to anyone else's posting on here. Even the wiring in most of the gutshots looks the same in most builds now.

It's nice to see something which looks outside the norm, even if it's not remotely practical like his foot hitting a knob of he stomps on the switch.

I used to make tube amps. Due to a non-disclosure agreement I am prohibited from mentioning the name, but that's when I filed a DBA, got a business license and signed up for a wholesale account with CE Dist and a few other distributors. CE Dist has a retail outlet as well you're probably familiar with, https://www.tubesandmore.com/ . They actually have REAL J201's, a bit pricey tho. The wholesale price is only a buck less..... 1668027745551.png
