Hah, I bought one because I'm a sucker and I'm curious and I'll probably flip it. But 100% this, top jacks and a footswitch makes this much more likely to stay on my board. The whole time I was watching the video I just kept thinking why not a second footswitch?! Cost is probably the answer, but it makes it way less useful of a pedal to have to bend down and flip the switch to go between channels.

I like JHS but I'm usually not aboard the hype train. But this looks pretty interesting, esp the clean circuit. I wonder how he did the variable impedance control. If there is a release here of the pedal I'll pick one up bc it's much easier to learn with the schematic and full size parts etc
