Have a Jet City 22H combo I’m looking at modding to a JCM800 circuit. A MK1 Katana 100 and a ‘76 Vibrochamp I just recapped, re-corded, and dropped the B+ on. Looking at an Orange Eocker terror 15 possibly with a Captor X to start recording.

Cooder, that 5F1 looks interesting. Care to share?

Great color! I understand Jimmy Page also used to record in the kitchen.

In my haste to post, I didn’t look at the surrounding mess! My only grounded outlet is in the kitchen, maybe that was Jimmy’s problem too!

Man these both sound awesome...very impressed, sounded so great with the mesa 4x12.....might get the Mark 5:25 and it sounded brutal with those EL84's....very surprised . I hate when people bring me over things to try for the weekend....lol

You can mod that 22H to get in that 800 sound , i watched Jay Parmar vids a few weeks ago when he modded his...looked fairly easy and straight forward ....

At this point in life I’m down to two amps. One, a 1960’s West 100 watt hand wired tube beast with dual 12” Jensen Vibrantos that can peal paint it’s brutally loud, I’ve had it since the 90’s and have only had to replace the pots and power tubes. And Two, a Fender Super Champ head that I built a walnut cab for and put in a 12” Jensen. I was trying to replicate the amazingly clean fat warm tone of the West but with a volume I could use at home. It’s amazingly close. Very happy with it. Both take pedals extremely well.

Yep Bryce is the man. Jay’s done a heckuva job on that amp. I’m thinking about doing the 6L6 conversion when I do it because, well, why not!

Man, a literal butt-ton of sweet looking gear you all have.

Just two for me. A 1984 Fender Super Champ from the Paul Rivera era when he worked at Fender. 2 channel 18w, 2 6v6's, with a EV Force 10" speaker and all handwired. I bought it from a cool used & vintage shop in SF who told me that it was previously Joe Satriani's who liked the shop and often offloaded gear to. I didn't care one way or the other but it sounds great!

The other is an Allen Encore that I built from a kit. 2x10 35w, based a bit off a blackface Vibrolux Reverb, but with some extras, tube driven tremolo, Peavey logo added as anti-theft deterrent.

Some great amps around here. All I have is a Fender Blues Jr., with the BillM mods (done by BillM himself). I also have a Marshall MG30, but that’s just for headphone play. This thread has got me thinking of upgrading...

Here's my humble contribution.
Bought this Laney Cub 10 when I got back to playing a couple of years ago.
It's a great little amp that outperforms it's budget class and takes pedal really well with lots of clean tweed-ish headroom.
At 10W, it's got plenty of power for this basement player, and a really nice breakup. And it can get loud enough for small gigs or jamming with friends.
Got it for cheap, so I swapped the stock speaker for a Jensen Mod 10-50, and boy am I glad I did. The sound is more opened up and focussed.
I also changed the knobs, as I didn't care much for the cheap plasticky chickenheads, and those cupcake knobs classy it up!

I have a Kemper with a Synergy Syn-5050 tube power amp (studio and live use), a Laney Ironheart 120 (studio and live use), a Mooer Preamp Live (tiny and great sounding for silent jamming, also sounds good with a power amp into a cab), and a Boss Katana Mini (battery powered and great sounding for its size).

For cabs I have an Omega 4x12, an Omega 2x12/1x15, and two vertical celestion-loaded 2x12s.

I'm planning a long distance move right now, so this will probably all get scaled down quite a bit, as I'll be moving away from my band and all that.

Here's mine. Peavey Combo 115 and 4x10, and Randall Commander RG120. I got a little too loud with my guitar synths a while back and shredded the speakers I'm the Randall, so have to replace them at some point

After 30 years of playing with SS amps, I finally got my first tube amp a couple weeks ago. Still can’t believe it. I really like my most recent SS amp, the Orange Crush60, so much that I actually held onto it instead of selling after I picked up the TH30. Although, this TH30 is exactly what I was looking for. As a tube noob I feel very fortunate to have found one that really jives with my tone on the first attempt. Also, the PPC212 closed back is a great match.
It amazes me the wall of sound that this 30 watt tube amp produces as compared to previous 100+ watt SS amps I’ve own.

Been awhile...just work work work ! I did get this a while back Ceriatone JCM800 with the PPIMV/LAR mods off TGP ....really sounds great and no more PCB's in amps...lesson learned there with that Blackstar. Been buying tubes...my box is full of all the favorites must try..gheez...a small fortune ! I did buy the Hot Mod V2 for it, he's behind 5 weeks...so

The SD-1 really shines with this amp for some reason.....Wonder Drive a close 2nd.....Muzzle with the thru mod...good to go ! .....dead silent

Saw someone with a Rivera-era Fender which was cool, so I thought I'd share my humble setup next to my little tinker station. After downsizing years ago, for now I have a mid-80s Fender Montreux 100w 1×12 Solid-state. Thanks to this site I don't have to blow all my money on expensive brand name pedals and can save for a new amp etc... ?

I knew someone would have a Ceriatone here. I'm saving up for one right now. They seem like the best bang for the buck on the planet to me. How has your experience with it been?

Awesome quality and awesome sound....i wanted a amp that had tube distortion vs clipping diodes. I bought the Hot Mod V2 for a extra gain stage and just bought the Ceriatone Kleinulator for a buffered loop. I was going to put in that zero loss loop in but i would have to drill a extra few holes in the chas....The guy put the PPIMV in one of the speaker jacks see pic below...i may build a high gain Yeti or Chuppa 50W down the road...but we haven't slowed down a bit at work, very lucky...working 7 days a week....very blessed

I did put my sliding rack drawer in this morning...need to build shorter cables, make room for another Wonder Drive ( for different settings ) and my Klone...velcro it down. Make it all clean....

That Muzzle last inline after the pre amps in the patch mate 8 ....you can hear a pin drop...Zero noise....awesome pedal ! ..................Recommended highly !

I've done some contract work for both Michael Klein and Ceriatone (in fact I designed the PCB for that one) so I'll have to see what their thoughts are... otherwise it'd be a conflict of interest.

I posted on Ceriatone if people would be interested in a buffered loop and Muzzle-noisegate for amps. I think it would be a nice unit to have. As soon as I saw the Ceriatone PCBs I knew they were your work.
