Oh man, we've had it wrong all along... should be selling our picks and throwing in the chips for freeI bought them used in mint condition for 20% off. Best price I could find anywhere.
The reverb ad said it was intermittent but I haven't seen any issues as of yet. Sounds phenomenal for $30

Lots of Rats in your future?Got these sans the NOS/vintage tax—I think I paid like 1/3 of new make costs, if Mouser is current. I didn't know until recently that PMI were the actual creators of the OP07 (among others from the OPxx) in the mid 1970s. Eventually they were bought by Analog Devices in 1990.
Crazy that '70s big boy TI decided they needed a direct competitor chip: μA714.

FWIW I build pedals on my computer desk so it might be a little different if you need to do a bunch of setup to start working, but what works for me is just dividing the task into very small pieces. "I'll just populate the resistors on these boards", and the caps, sockets and semiconductors is a simple step after that, and then I'll just cut the wires, might as well solder the wires in, and now I just need to solder in the footswitch and jacks.Damn, I need to get motivated to get my pedals built. I got a few new PCBs back from blue box Santa.
