There's any Squier Classic Vibe love around here? Just got this Tele on the right and next week I'll be receiving a Bass. Here in Brasil with today's taxes and dolar ratio, doesn't really make much sense to spend 10 minimum wages on a Fender AM Standard, so...

Any of you guys use these guitars on a regular basis?

Brazilian here as well and I find my 50s Tele classic vibe a very good guitar. It stays in tune, it plays well and the electronics are good. I'm not a pro player, but, personally, I don't need more than that

I love the classic vibe series! I have a 60s Strat that I am super fond of. And while I’m not sure if it’s technically considered a Squier CV, my main guitar for a few years now has been a J Mascis JM which I think is in the same “class” of instrument if nothing else.

I think I’ve said it before but it really feels like Fender/Squier kind of shifted their whole product line. Like, Classic Vibe Squiers cost as much as MIM fenders did not that long ago, but imo the CV Squiers are just as good if not better than when MIM fender’s were $4-500. In the same way, the MIM “Player series” fender today are coming in at $7-800+ (which you used to be able to get a MIA for) but for me they play as nice as base level MIA’s did a decade or so ago.

And I will say, I used to feel a bit snobby or embarrassed by the squier logo, but nowadays the most frequent reaction is typically more like “you got that sound out of a squier?!?” which is pretty nice to hear in a weird way

These CVs are all really nice. The Tele was perfect right out of the box. The Strat needed minimal setup, and I spent a lot of time on the JM. It’s got all new wiring and pickups. They all play great!

I absolutely love the Classic Vibe series. Although I tend to modify mine quite a bit.

My current sunburst 50's style Strat started life as a CV 50's. (I think only the body is still CV though). I love the body, it's one from the Made In China days and it's a gorgeous piece of Alder, that I got to hand pick from a bunch from Sweetwater.



My CV Jazzmaster, which recently got some new Sunday Handwound pickups..



My CV Jazz bass, that's still "mostly" stock. Just upgraded the wiring, pots and cap.


And my Thinline Tele, that began life as a CV Thinline. I think this one too, only the body is still stock.

I love the look of that Deluxe. For a while I had a Fender Chris Shiflett tele deluxe that I never bonded with. I think I should have just got one like that classic vibe.

Glad you like it! I got the pickguard on Aliexpress, it was black. It's a really comfortable and nice sounding guitar!

Just got this one! My first bass ever

Shell pink 60’s classic vibe… Obsidian 7 way gilmour guts… I did a quick relic with a lot bumps and dings, sand throughs … put all the screws and hardware in muriatic acid and then a soak in peroxide… Dark bri wax rubbed on all the plastics,nicks and dings to create some dirt/age ..fully shielded with copper tape…. Full set up by me… leveled a couple high frets… Cut the nut slots to correct height… Changed trem block to a full size steel block..
