Notaklon

That could be an entire hands-off business model. Sell these kits that are premade, require no assembly from JHS aside from packaging, and profit. Should they do it for all their cheaper priced models? They’ve got a good thing that’s for sure.
This, all day long. It’s a way to recoup costs and maybe make a profit on them.

Hello from JHS Pedals!

We hope this message finds you well. We want to share some updates with you about the timeline and delivery expectations of the new NOTAKLÖN pedal.

As our website indicated last week, the initial 3000 units very quickly sold out on release day 11/15. All subsequent orders are on a Pre-Order status, meaning they are not immediately available to ship, and based on our current supply chain, here's what you can expect in terms of delivery:

For orders numbered between 1001-3800 (approximately), you are among the first 3000 and can anticipate receiving your order within 1-2 weeks, possibly sooner. We're thrilled to note that many of these orders have already been fulfilled!

For orders numbered between 3800-6800 (approximately), your order is on Pre-Order status and is expected to ship in mid-to-late December, potentially extending into early January. Though we understand some of these were purchased as gifts, please note that we cannot guarantee that orders beyond #3800 will arrive before December 25th.

For orders numbered between 6800-11000 (approximately), your order is on Pre-Order status and is slated to ship by mid-January, possibly extending into early February.

For orders numbered 11000 and above (approximately), your order is on Pre-Order status and is expected to ship by early February, possibly extending into late February.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work diligently to fulfill these orders. Rest assured, we're doing our best to ensure a smooth and timely delivery process.

If you would like to cancel your order, please find and reply to your original Order Confirmation email.
Thank you for your support and enthusiasm for our products. This is by far our most successful release ever and we had no idea that your response would be so outstanding! All of us here at JHS are extremely grateful for your support of what we do and we are working as diligently as possible to produce these in the most timely manner that we can. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team.

Best regards,

Josh Scott, and the JHS Pedals Team

He is more Famous & Richer than Bill Finnegan in a couple of Days.
I also dispute that he made 8,000 Klons, closer to just over 5,000 maybe.
I told him to stick his Klon when I was trying to order one & he asked me why I wanted to purchase one so he could advise me if I needed it as it was designed for professional musicians.
I have met my fair share of Professional Musicians & I wouldn't piss on some of them if they were on Fire!

Yeah that’s the first one ever built, I saw that on reverb. Still crazy that somebody would pay that much for it!

Did literally none of you read the description for that Reverb posting?

Geezers these days, jeez...

I fully approve of the that FWIW.

I'll be honest and admit I didn't read it. I've read it now though and also approve of cause.

For those too lazy to open the link:

"Any offer over 500 EU will be accepted. I will personally add a another 500 EU. I'd love to say I would double that amount but I'd be in debt if someone decides to pay full price. The proceeds + my 500 eu addition will be donated to De Voedselbank, literal translation "The Foodbank". It's an organization that helps people living in poverty with groceries and clothing. There are currently 1.2 million people living in poverty in The Netherlands. A lot of them are children. I'll post proof of donation to my Instagram and Facebook pages and the Youtube community page.
