I figured it was something like this. Interesting that they're just dropping the Adafruit modules in there, that can't be particularly economical. I was thinking last night you could make a Korg Miku 'clone' with something like this, just have it play back a bunch of Miku sound samples. But there's gotta be actual musical uses for something like this. It seems like a really cool idea just to use for a joke.

I don't want to derail the quality fart discussion with yet another tale of a nasty hand injury but.... I have a similar mangled nail and another reassembled finger that I earned while building my son's crib ~13 years ago after a piece of wood I was cutting a dado in was ejected from a table saw and my hand went along for the ride into the back of the blade. I also have pics that I won't share unless requestedChop saw accident in 2018, fileted the thumb down to the bone (pics available on request, but not for the faint of heart) and the nail grew back weird. That bandage is off now, that was a fresh bandage after an hour after working in the garage
Of course this happened to my fretting hand so I get to live with the consequences every time I pick up my guitar, but that's really the only long-term issue I have. I can't really bend the top joint of my middle finger and the tip is pretty sensitive. The hand surgeon did such a good job putting things back together that most people don't notice unless they get a good look at it.

And this is why I have a brand new router, never plugged in, and left an unused tablesaw at the last place when we moved...
I got the bright idea that I wanted to build some cabinets, bought all the necessary tools and supplies, then started watching videos of tablesaw kickback and router accidents... Decided I'd probably just buy pre-built cabinets instead.

To put this back on track, I myself have had ... again b-slaps of irony in my life, a board go sideways I was working on for bass neck and took a nibble out of my thumb on a Stewmac "safety planer", yes really. For those contemplating working on stuff, a batch file of mp3/wav could be the screams and swearing of the immediate aftermath of human vs shop equipment. guess they could be posted at www . pain . arg 
IF it's any consolation, remember the left handed god father of heavy metal lost tips off 2 fingers to a shear at a mill his last day that he didn't even want to go back to after lunch but listened to his mother....

They come in a variety of shapes and states of matter.... preferably gas, but occasionally liquid and/or solid, and even plasma (typically observed near campfires).
They're like a scientific marvel.

This photo was 2 weeks after the Incident!
My brother was cutting recycled 4'' x 2'' offcuts for firewood on a Table Saw on my Uncle's farm & turned the timber over to check if he was hitting a nail & the Saw Blade grabbed his loose shirt sleeve!!!!!!!!!
8 hrs of Surgery later to join the Bone back together with plates and screws & join all the tendons back together.
Within 4 months he was Gigging again with full use of his Guitar fretting hand but not without some pain.
His arm still looks like a Shark bit it but it only gives him some minor irritation now

Not to be confused with Gatorade, which comes from imbibing too much of that solution and then squirting it out the wrong end...
