Have you checked out the Parasit Studio Into the Unknown? Very similar sounds to be had. Freppo designs some amazing circuits, and he's a cool person otherwise.

I have the Regular Multiwave, and I absolutely love the pseudo-pitch tracking ring mod on it

No- that one's going to be for "normal" effects (like 95% PedalPCB boards, supplemented with a couple small boards from elsewhere). I'll have to pick up another 1456WL3BKBK for the synth thing

Did you include the OLED for the frequency display, not sure if that is shown in the DIY version or not.

It’s an option you can include, the build documents specify the parts you need/what to omit if not using it. I’m not going to do it as I don’t feel like punching and grinding a square hole in the enclosure haha
