What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Doesn’t look too crusty from that angle! I’m guessing you’re not in the road-salt belt. I hope it comes out and goes back in for you without too much drama. Did you have to pull the subframe?
I was able to move it to the side far enough that I didn't have to drop the subframe. New clutch and pressure plate are bolted up, and I'm calling it for the night. I'll tackle reassembly tomorrow after the ibuprofen kicks in.

I live on the gulf coast, our roads basically never ice over. Rust isn't much of a problem for us. Drivers from Louisiana usually ruin our frames first.

showing off your lack of IC sockets!

The next build I did after this I soldered a tl072 backwards lmao, so you win some you lose some 🙃 back to sockets for everything until my confidence is back up

edit: stole this from the pedalpcb wishlist but some smd piggyback transistor modules. with mmbf3904s and a 10k trim the Hfe can go from 200 to 10 and anywhere in between

Puttin a bunghole in thentop for the trimmer?
Or just to make bit easier to cal when everything isn't upside down and backwards?
Nah, I chose to go with an external pot, as it's got some cool variation along its sweep 1000020174.jpg

Rosie's not happy about it, though
