I just switched to Luna recently… it’s ok…
I have ableton but don’t really use it much anymore…

I'm currently using LUNA, because it came free with my Apollo Twin X.....I agree with @K Pedals, it's "ok".
It's a bit buggy at times.
But if you're using the UAD plugins it's pretty convenient.

It’s open source. Really robust and actively developed. It’s technically free as well but if you’re like me and the thought of compiling a DWA yourself gives you cold chills, you can get a compiled copy from their website for as little as 1 dollar.

I've only really tried Reaper and Ardour, but settled on Reaper because of the tons of videos he put out showing you how to do just about everything. I'm old and tired and don't have time to figure everything out for myself these days

In theory I use Garageband and Logic. In practise I struggle with Garageband and am totally baffled by Logic. In both senses of the word.

Years ago I had Digital Performer, along with a PCI based processor, that finally became extinct. And I really didn’t need that much complexity for any of my personal projects, but I did have fun recording a local Chamber Orchestra on occasion. So, after several years‘ delayed replacement, I went with an iPad based system, using Auria Pro and an Audient id4—much simpler, has very nice Mike preamps in it, and given how little I record, can’t imagine outgrowing it.
